Since the days of the Monkeys, I have always been able to hear the ‘tech’ in people’s voices. It pollutes the “couldn’t be otherwise” movement (like the note progressions of Mozart) and decreases the voice’s resonance with me. Today the peak of that kind of tech is called “auto-tune”. This video uses my all-time favorite version of my all-time favorite song to explain what auto-tune can and can’t do.
